WAPA Members have been invited to the Volkswagen US headquarters campus to be introduced to the Chatanooga TN manufactured Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) the new Volkswagen Atlas on Wednesday, April 19, 2017. “These personal interactions with auto manufacturers are an important part of being a member of the Washington Automotive Press Association.” Stated WAPA President Emeritus, Les Jackson in a recent interview during the 2017 Washington DC Auto Show. “WAPA members are invited to get to know these new vehicles before other members of the press, and members love that!”
Volkswagen has been producing a number of vehicles in the United States, and the Volkswagen Atlas, a SUV is just the latest model engineered and designed for American consumers who need the convenience and utility of a vehicle of this stature. Larger than the other SUV’s the brand has had on the market, but still with all the luxury and technology amenities the brand is well known for.
Washington Automotive Press Association members will gather at VW’s Herndon VA headquarter building to experience the Atlas first hand, with walkarounds with VW staff as well as drive sessions. VW will host attendees to a lunch and discuss the entire product line as well as answer questions. The Atlas will be in dealer showrooms this year, and consumers are already showing strong interest.
