Progressive Motorcycle Show – WAPA VIP Media Day
February 8th 2019
Join us for a VIP preview of the 2019 Progressive Motorcycle Show, here in Washington DC. WAPA Members have been asking for more two-wheel action from WAPA. This is your opportunity to interact with the PR reps from the motorcycle companies, much like we do with the automobile companies.
We will meet at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center at Noon and start the tour in the Honda booth. We are working with other bike companies who will also be welcoming us to their booths to talk about their products.
Plans are still developing, expect some ride experiences and interactions with the brands at the show, and some follow up after the show. The WAPA VIP Media day is the official media day for the show.
We will have a couple of our OEM friends with us, Chris Naughton from Honda/Acura Automobiles will be joining us along with Colin Miller from American Honda’s West Coast Motorcycle Team. Biker aficionado and FCA OEM Rep Lisa Barrow will join us as a regular WAPA member. Plus who knows who will be in attendance, as WAPA is all about networking.
More details to come. First go ahead and RSVP With US so we know you are coming and put in for your media pass from Progressive.

Lunch and parking are not included in this event. Grab a bite beforehand, the Convention Center is Metro accessible.
See you on Feb 8th.
Automotive Retail is Changing WAPA & Carvana December Meeting
December 4th 2018
Carvana invites you to a behind-the-scenes tour of its DC-area Car Vending Machine. Come to learn about how the business of selling vehicles is changing on Tuesday, December 4th at 11:30 a.m. at the Gaithersburg Maryland Carvana location.
WAPA members will have a chance to learn more from Carvana representatives about how this auto retailer is disrupting the way consumers buy a car: completely online, in as little as 10 minutes.
Attendees will enjoy a light lunch followed by a short welcome from Carvana spokesperson Amy O’Hara, then the opportunity to ask questions while touring the Car Vending Machine and seeing a car being vended at this state of the art facility. Photo and video, as well as social media posting, is welcome and encouraged!
